NOTE:

• Approval for the RF-Lambda Memorial Scholarship is subject to the availability of scholarship funds. There is no guarantee your application will be approved. 

• If Scholarship is awarded, funds will be paid directly to the institution for such items as tuition, housing, fees or academic tutoring needs that pertain to selected coursework.

Financial Education Employment Program

Our Financial Education Employment Program provides a variety of services with the focus on helping our families improve their financial literacy through employment assistance, budgeting support, and mentoring.

Virtual Education Program

Our Virtual Education Program provides a variety of services ranging from tutoring, a memorial scholarship, support applying to college, and educational subscriptions to the IXL website (math, ELA, Science and Spanish) and Highlights (magazine and book club).

Gold Star/Surviving Spouses Registry

Spouses, we want to know about the needs and challenges faced by your family. Our Registry provides us with that information and highlights other resources, programs, and opportunities, which may be available to your family, especially through our partner organizations.

Virtual Library

We know our families are busy, so to best equip them with resources, tools, and more support, we are now recording our various workshops, information sessions, and seminars. Our Team understands loss and our family’s busy schedules so we are working to provide programming that meets their needs on their own time. Reach out to us to learn more and get started! 

Career Mentoring Program

We are both honored and excited to offer our Surviving Spouses and college-age teens (who must be enrolled in college, trade school, or want to enter the military) career mentoring through Cummins Veteran Employment Resource Group. This program matches our Gold Star/Surviving Spouses and teens with a Cummins employee who can provide career mentoring through virtual and group forums. Spouses and teens interested must first register with the Sugar Bear Foundation and then complete the Mentoring Application.
