SSG Christopher Harris, ARMY

“Chris and I met in 2014 through mutual friends, and from the moment we connected, life was just brighter with him in it. He had an incredible sense of humor—always joking around, always smiling. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing pool and bowling, and just enjoying the little things in life. We laughed a lot. Movie dates and arcade nights were some of our favorite ways to spend time together. Chris was proudly from Cleveland, Ohio—and a diehard Cleveland Browns fan through and through. His favorite colors were green and red, and they matched the bold, passionate way he lived his life. When our son Ashton was born, Chris was deployed in Korea. Even from across the world, he made sure Ashton and I felt his love every single day. Ashton misses his dad deeply—and so do I. Chris wasn’t just my partner—he was my best friend. Navigating life without him has been incredibly difficult, but I hold tightly to the love, the laughter, and the memories we created together. Chris’s spirit lives on in Ashton and in all the lives he touched. We are so proud of him—his service, his heart, and the legacy he left behind.”
